Choose Your Massage Session
Therapeutic Massage: Your therapists have been trained in a wide range of techniques and will combine a variety of modalities in order to tailor the session to your specific needs. The main techniques employed at Kaizen Healing Arts are described on the Therapeutic Massage Techniques page.
Hot Stone Massage: Hot Stone Massage is becoming widely sought after for its deeply relaxing benefits. This therapy offers a profound connection with nature that we too often forget. It involves the placement of smooth, heated, basalt stones on key points on the body to melt away knots, tension and stress. The therapist then uses an aromatherapy oil blend to luxuriously massage the muscles with the heated stones. The combination of penetrating heat and massage relieves pain, promotes harmony, and creates a sense of peace. If you have never experienced this unique indulgence, you owe yourself this exquisite moment.
Couples Massage: During a Couples Massage, two people receive a massage simultaneously in the same room, by two different therapists. Our space is large enough to accommodate two massage tables, side by side. We invite you to enjoy the rejuvenation and mutual benefits of a massage with your partner.
Thai-Yoga Massage: Described as "lazy man's yoga", traditional Thai massage is an ancient healing art that was developed over a thousand years ago in Thailand and draws from both the Ayurvedic and the Chinese traditions. This powerful technique combines the concepts of both acupressure and yoga. Deep compression is applied along the sen lines, through which the body's vital force flows. The practitioner gently moves the client into yoga postures, which further enhance the flow of energy and stretch the muscles. The session is performed on a floor mat and through the client's clothes. Thai-Yoga Massage releases blocked energy and stimulates the body's innate healing potential, thus restoring balance, health and harmony.
